Services & treatments
Every treatment, explained simply.
Seven areas of care, grouped from the treatments listed by Alaradi Dental & Cosmetic Center.
Your dentist will confirm which treatment suits you after an examination.
Check-ups & consultation
The starting point for any treatment at the clinic.
- Consultation
- A first visit where the dentist examines your teeth and gums, listens to any concerns, and explains the treatment options available to you.
- General examination
- A routine check of your teeth, gums and mouth to see how they are doing and whether anything needs attention.
- Follow-up visits
- Return appointments to check on progress after a treatment, or to continue a treatment plan agreed with your dentist.
Cosmetic dentistry
Treatments that change the shade, shape or look of your teeth.
- Teeth whitening
- A professional whitening treatment that lightens the shade of your natural teeth. How much the shade changes varies from person to person.
- Veneers & Lumineers
- Thin, custom-made shells bonded to the front of the teeth to change their shape, shade or size. Lumineers are a brand of especially thin veneer.
- Snap-On Smile
- A removable, custom-made arch that fits over your existing teeth to change how your smile looks, without altering the teeth underneath.
Restorative dentistry
General dentistry that repairs or replaces damaged and missing teeth.
- Fillings and repairs
- Restores a tooth damaged by decay or a small break by cleaning the area and filling it with a tooth-coloured material.
- Crowns and caps
- A custom-made cover placed over a weakened or heavily restored tooth to protect it and restore its shape.
- Dental bridges
- Replaces one or more missing teeth with an artificial tooth held in place by the teeth on either side of the gap.
- Dentures and prosthetics
- Removable or fixed replacements for missing teeth, made to fit your mouth.
- Dental sealants
- A thin protective coating painted onto the chewing surfaces of back teeth to help guard the grooves against decay.
Orthodontics
Treatments that gradually move teeth into a new position.
- Braces
- Brackets fixed to the teeth and joined by a wire, adjusted over time to straighten the teeth.
- Invisalign
- Straightens teeth using a series of clear, removable aligners, each worn for a set period. It’s one orthodontic option alongside traditional braces.
- Retainers
- Worn after orthodontic treatment to help keep the teeth in their new position.
Dental implants
A way to replace missing teeth, listed among the clinic’s services.
- Dental implants
- An implant replaces the root of a missing tooth and supports a crown, bridge or denture. Whether it suits you depends on your gums and jawbone, which the dentist checks first.
- Implant-supported bridges and prosthetics
- Artificial teeth attached to implants rather than to neighbouring teeth, used when more than one tooth is missing.
Root canal & oral surgery
Endodontic and surgical care for infected, damaged or problem teeth and gums.
- Root canal treatment
- Cleans and seals the inside of a tooth when the inner tissue is infected or damaged, with the aim of keeping your natural tooth.
- Treatment of tooth infections
- Care for an infected tooth or the area around it. Your dentist decides the right approach after examining it.
- Extractions
- Removal of a tooth that can’t be kept, for example because it is badly damaged.
- Gum surgery
- Procedures on the gums carried out when a condition can’t be managed with routine care alone.
- Dental laser treatments
- Some dental procedures can be carried out using a dental laser. Your dentist will explain if it applies to your treatment.
Children’s dentistry
Paediatric dental care for younger patients.
- Children’s dental care
- Check-ups and treatment for children’s teeth, adapted to younger patients.
- Sealants for children
- The protective coating described under restorative dentistry is often used on children’s back teeth.
